Sandals Slides Leather
Why do my white leather sandals get a "bloom" on them?
I just noticed in the last three or four years. I have three pairs of leather sandals that develop a whitish color, type of fat-feeling "bloom" unless you use them for a few days. It seems kind of spots, as salt. Clean immediately, even when constructed during the winter must have a touch to get remove. There is no smell to it. These are heavier, or sandals slides with synthetic soles, a pair of Dr. Marten, one by Skechers, not sure about the other. Are my shoes every day in warm weather. I live in Michigan and my house is not particularly wet or hot, nor do I have foot problems such as excessive sweating or athlete's foot. Not so with other leather footwear … only these sandals. Of course I would like to know what this is!
